Alexander “Alex” Cooper Milardo is a seasoned salvage professional with dual expertise in specialty salvage operations and financing. As the salvage operations manager at Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage LLC, Alex C. Milardo has directed large-scale marine recovery efforts, including the coordination of over 750 vessel salvages following Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Irma. His development on the company’s social media platform derived $22 million in additional sales, and he undertook efforts that led to an 80 percent year-over-year increase in total assets processed.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Milardo served as an equity sales and trading analyst with The Andriole Group under HighTower Advisors. There, he evaluated market conditions, summarized equity research reports, and compiled a report on blockchain technology’s growth potential and cryptocurrency’s future.

A Johnson & Wales University alumnus and a USCG Limited Masters License holder, Mr. Milardo began engaging in leadership efforts while in high school. He spent six years participating in fundraising efforts for the Connecticut Cancer Foundation, for which he led a student volunteer team and helped raise over $20,000 during an annual cycling event. Today, Mr. Milardo is a regular attendee of Quinnipiac University’s GAME Forum, a student-run financial conference.

Outside of his professional obligations, Alexander Cooper Milardo’s interests span golf, offshore fishing, and waterskiing.
